The second excursion over Horseshoe Curve for Altoona Railfest is departing Altoona.

In a classic PRR West Slope scene, PRR 5711 heads to Pittsburgh with the Gateway Tripper. For the second year in a row, we almost got blocked by a slow moving Westbound freight on track 3.

As they round the curve, everyone is fixated on one thing, the Pennsy E8's.
