FEC 226 wanders into St. Augustine, my last train of 2016. The LNG fuel has really made some changes on the FEC this year past.

On a foggy Christmas Eve FEC 226 crosses the tidewater in St. Augustine. The Florida white Christmas usually means fog.

FEC 226 lead by a solid EMD lashup an image that could have been easily taken 3 years ago, however these days fairly rare. But it happens once in a while.

Blast from the past! FEC 226 makes its way north through St Augustine after the passing of the Christmas train with a pair of EMDs leading.

FEC 226 rolls across the high water in St. Augustine with one of the LNG sets. The oxidation of the rails from them being submerged in Matthew the month before is still evident.

2nd LNG set now in operation. During Matthew, the storm surge covered the bridge here. Now one week later trains are now running normally even with some leftover high water.
