Louisville & Nashville U23B #2817 was built February 1975 and later became CSX #3318

Spotted deep in the pine forests of Southeast Georgia, a trio of U Boats ride out the weekend in the very tidy locomotive shop near Lyons.

Nice to catch one of the ex-Monon, ex-L&N units in this short lived scheme.

Ex-Monon as evidenced by the AAR B trucks. L&Ns had FB-2 type. This is a number in the CSX series.
