Remarks & Notes |
SARM operates the 'Secret City Scenic' excursion train over approximately seven miles of a former Southern Railway branchline which was built to provide rail service to the US Department of Energy's K-25 research and development facility. Several restored diesels of varying vintage are used as power for the trip. On this particular day, the train is running with two former CSX U23Bs, one on each end, and both still wearing CSX maintenance of way orange. Both units are original L&N. |
