Everyone has a particular favorite, no-fail photo spot where he or she can photograph a train in any kind of weather during any season and usually come away with a shot they like. For me, one such location is either side of Marsh Stream in Winterport or Frankfort, Maine. The afternoon of May 24, 2017 was a perfect Spring day as Central Maine & Quebec's Searsport job was returning from a day along the Maine shoreline. A typical mixed bag of GE and EMD power had its short train rolling quickly back into Winterport. Regardless of blackfly season being in full swing, a few spectators were more than happy to be outside.
