Two german "Pacific" 4-6-2 express train steamlocomotives, capable for 130 km/h, in the depot of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Eisenbahngeschichte (DGEG) in Neustadt/Weinstrasse on the occasion of the Rheinland-Pfalz steam spectacle 2014. 01 118 was built in 1934 by Krupp in Essen, ran for the Deutsche Reichsbahn of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) after WW II and is since 1981 owned and operated by Historische Eisenbahn Frankfurt e.V. (HEF). It is the only of the series which was operational uninterrupted over the whole time. 01 150 was built in 1935 by Henschel in Kassel, ran for the Deutsche Bundesbahn after WW II and is owned by DB Museum today, but loaned to and operated by Eisenbahnstiftung Joachim Schmidt and is based in Heilbronn. She got a new all welded boiler in Meiningen in 2011.
