Remarks & Notes

On June 13, 2008, the 1904-built Southern Pacific depot in Tehachapi, California, burned to the ground. At the time, the station was undergoing an extensive restoration. But the good news is that an accurate replacement station is nearing completion, as seen in this March 12, 2010 view.
