When Rice Yard was built SCL, by then under the Family Lines umbrella, decided to crank out special yard units rebuilt from SD35s & SDP35s.. The downgrade even involved replacing the prime mover with an older BC block, removing D/B and turbo etc. Some years later they showed up at this hump.
