| "Work Geeps through the East Haven Tunnels"
On the rainy afternoon of March 7th, 2024, Amtrak EMD GP38-3's 728 & 734 run lite past the East Haven Tunnels in New Haven, Connecticut on the Shore Line section of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. 734 (ex LI 263) & 728 (ex LI 253) are two of 36 newly rebuilt EMD GP38-3's purchased from Progress Rail to replace the aging MP15DC work locomotive fleet.
