Electrolocomotive Ae 3/6 I # 10664 of SBB Historic, based in Rapperswil, is on the way to Linthal, with the Bahnreisen Sutter special 31033, between Nidfurn-Haslen and Luchsingen-Hätzingen. We can see the typical Buchli drive on the driving axles of the locomotive, which was built by SLM and BBC in 1926. The Ae 3/6 I were one of the largest built series of the SBB with 114 locomotives built between 1920 and 1929. The two cars are of the association Railvetica. The train ran from Rapperswil via Pfäffikon SZ to Freienbach SOB (switchback) and via Ziegelbrücke-Glarus to Linthal and the same way back. In the background, behind the tree on the hill is snow covered Schilt mountain, 2298 meter high.
