"Giruno" highspeed train RABe 501 # 010 "Basel Landschaft", together with RABe 501 # 021 in multiple control, running as IC 10865 from Zürich via Zug-Arth Goldau-Gotthard Base Tunnel-Bellinzona to Lugano, is passing the cable hut 26 o between Claro and Castione-Arbedo. Since change of timetable on december 10, on saturday morning the trains form north to the Ticino are running through the Gotthard Base Tunnel again, when there are few freights south only. Freights northbound have to go over the mountain in this time period. The west bore of the tunnel is still closed till about september 2024, after the derailment in august 2023. Above the train is 2182 meter high Cima di Negrös.
