| 336 was the third of three FEC trains in a row to cross the St. Lucie River on this fine spring morning. GP40-2 429 was an unexpected, pleasant surprise on the head end and broke up what would have been a consecutively numbered set of "Champion" SD40-2s. 336 was running late and would typically be through here under the cover of darkness. At least seven boats have gathered and were waiting patiently for FEC's "morning rush" but they would soon by on their way after 336 cleared. |
