Remarks & Notes

BN 616 is former GN passenger F7A no. 365C/ 276A built in October 1950. BN apparently assigned it to freight service. F units primarily assigned to BN passenger service were numbered in the 9700-9830. This unit did not carry a number in this series. F units lasted on BN for about 10-11 years after the merger, with a few kept for snowplow service into the BNSF era.
