While most of the leaves have fallen already, a few still hang on to some late changing maple trees in downtown Ashland, Virginia, as the northbound Carolinian makes its way through town on an overcast November afternoon. Leading the way is one of Amtrak's latest heritage locomotive, the 'Pepsi Can' scheme P42DC, which many of their P32-8WH's wore in the late 90's and early 00's.
