The iconic "Churchill Arrow" (Roter Pfeil Churchill) RAe 4/8 # 1021 of the SBB, built in 1939, is ready for the sylvester/new year trip in Zürich main station track 14. The journey with good food and drinks started in Zürich main station after 8 PM and went via Zürich Oerlikon-Otelfingen-Killwangen-Spreitenbach-Zürich main station underground tracks-Meilen-Rapperswil to Schmerikon on the shore of Lake Zürich, then back via Rapperswil-Pfäffikon SZ to Wädenswil with half an hour break to say welcome to the New Year, and then back to Zürich in the early morning of january 1, 2023. In the background, on the same track, is the doubledeck "IC2K" of the Deutsche Bahn, a former 6-car "KISS" of the austrian Westbahn, built by StadlerRail. It is 4010 # 003 "Allgäu", which arrived as IC 281 from Stuttgart via Singen-Schaffhausen at 7.23 PM
