Happy New Year and all the best for 2023! The iconic "Churchill Arrow" (Roter Pfeil Churchill) RAe 4/8 # 1021 of the SBB, built in 1939, is on the sylvester/new year trip and stopped for some minutes in Otelfingen. The journey with good food and drinks started in Zürich main station after 8 PM and went via Zürich Oerlikon-Otelfingen-Killwangen-Spreitenbach-Zürich main station underground tracks-Meilen-Rapperswil to Schmerikon on the shore of Lake Zürich, then back via Rapperswil-Pfäffikon SZ to Wädenswil with half an hour break to say welcome to the New Year, and then back to Zürich in the early morning of january 1, 2023.
