| "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3515 of the Rhaetian Railway is pulling the PE 951 BERNINA EXPRESS from Chur over the Albula and Bernina line to Tirano, near the continental divide on the Bernina pass, between Bernina Lagalb and Ospizio Bernina, on about 2250 meter a.s.l. In the background is Piz Ot north of the Engadine. Above the train are several new installed "Kreuzkolktafel", which serve to form a deflation basin (blowout behind a snow drift). |
