Remarks & Notes
The ORIENTAL DESERT EXPRESS of the ONCF from Oujda to Bouarfa (305 kilometer) through the east moroccan desert circulate two to three times a year only, when enough tourist booked the trip. The train with diesellocomotives DH # 421 and # 430 and 6 cars stopped because sand on the track in the curve after the bridge over the dried out Oued El Oglat creek, some kilometers before Ain Beni Mathar. Workers with shovels, which travelled along in the train for this purpose, cleared the track, so that the train could continue the journey after about half an hour.
