UP 308 is parked at Baker, OR where it handles local business in the area. The loco is an Omaha GP20 upgraded by UP shops from a GP9. UP upgraded a number of GP9s and GP9Bs to 2000 HP and also purchased new low nose GP20s in the early 60s. A UP manifest freight heads east behind the Geep.
