Remarks & Notes

A nice mix of EMD power led by BN SD45 no. 6512 climbs the one percent grade of the Chumstick cutoff west of Leavenworth, heading from Wenatchee to Seattle via the Cascade Tunnel under Stevens Pass. Note the differences in details between the 6512 and the first commercial SD45, BN 6430, Hustle Muscle, built as GN no. 400, built in May 1966.
