Remarks & Notes
Old #6 welcomes visitors to the entrance of North Cascades National Park along hwy 20 in Newhalem WA. The plaque explains the engine was purchased in 1927 for $7,500 and brought supplies to the area to builds the dams for the Seattle City Light project. Then it brought tourists to Skagit until 1954 and was later restored in 1970's.
