The Consumer Price Index inflation calculator page from US Bureau of Labor Statistics says that 1927 purchase amount of $7,500 updated to October 2021 dollars would be, $119,219.40. Lumber prices have been rather volatile lately so I'm not even going to guess what replacing that splintering pilot beam would cost.
