Overview of the facilities of the Furka mountain steam railroad (Dampfbahn Furka-Bergstrecke/DFB) in Realp as well as part of the station of the Matterhorn-Gotthard railroad (MGBahn), in the background part of the village of Realp. The brown buildings on the left belong to the Realp golf course. On track 1 of Realp DFB station is the cogwheel steam locomotive HG 4/4 704, which is about to drive to the new car storage hall in the background to fetch the cars for train 133. On track 3 you can see among others the 3 new "Moyse" diesel locomotives Gm 3/3, which could be taken over from the Rhätische Bahn. In the back, the red Gm 4/4 # 71 "Elch" of the DFB as well as the orange diesel locomotive Gmf 4/4 # 90 of the company Furrer und Frey. On the right are the tracks belonging to the Realp station of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn. A shuttle train with pushing railcar Deh 4/4, on its way from Andermatt to Brig and Visp, is heading for the tunnel portal of the Furka base tunnel. On track 1 the driving trailer and a couple of empty loading cars of the car transport service can be seen through the Furka base tunnel to Oberwald. On the far right are two yellow diesel shunters Tm 2/2 "LC 350 S" # 1 and # 2 of the ARGE Furka, used for the rebuilding of the Furka Base Tunnel.
