| The 'Super' Chief - A tardy westbound Southwest Chief pulls through Santa Fe Springs, with one half of the train only being 11 hours late, while the other half is over 35 hours late. This comes as a result of a major derailment on the Gallup Subdivision that shut down the transcon for a day, causing two westbound Chiefs to catch up to each other before combining into one. Two baggage cars and two private cars brought up the rear of today's train. |
