Remarks & Notes
The Southbound "Tour of the line" crawls over the impressive 1550' curve deck bridge spanning the Montreal River and power dam which encases the base of the trestle. This once regular Sault Ste. Marie-->Hearst and return passenger service; a vital lifeline to the lodges, camps, and communities along the mostly inaccessible 296 mile line which carves its way north through Algoma country, hasn't operated since 2015. Lets hope that changes with the change of ownership.
