A wave from a caboose. Once a common sight, a wave from a caboose is not something you'll see often these days. With the Pointe St-Charles switcher in Montreal now assigned a caboose for long backup moves, it can happen again when you get lucky. Here a crewmember waves as the train heads towards the Port of Montreal after shoving out of the yard as they pass MP 1.76 of the Montreal SUb. This van is not in great shape, but it is back home, as it was built by CN in their Pointe St-Charles shop in Montreal (now demolished).
