On november 9th 2018, at Landquart the Ge 4/4 II locomotive # 616 "Filisur" was introduced with a new publicty paint (adhesives) sponsoring the fund raise for the renovation of the steamlocomotive G 3/4 # 1 "RAETIA" from 1889. The "RAETIA" is stored since 2014 and there are needed about 1 mio swiss francs for the rebuilding. The locomotive was built by SLM Winterthur in 1889 and was the very first locomotive of the predecessor railway Landquart-Davos Bahn (LD), which became the Rhaetian Railway in 1894. In this picture, the smoke from the chimney of the steamlocomotive was "artificial", she is not operational. In the meantime, the money for the renovation of the "RHETIA" is collected near-complete, but there will be some years till the finish of the project.
