Remarks & Notes
The tail end has cleared St. Luc's departure yard and the engineer accelerates for the trip to Smiths Falls, ON. He may have trouble making track speed as today's long train seems underpowered with just 3,900 H.P. Train 915 usually has enough units for 5,000 to 6,000 H.P. It was unusual to find a EMD F7B in a consist out of Montreal as these units were assigned to Calgary in the West. Montreal was MLW/Alco territory on the CPR.
