Santa Fe H-12-44TS no. 542 is at Corwith Yard shortly before retirement. This was one of three units (541-543) that were purchased to handle passenger switching, thus equipped with a high short hood and road switcher length underframe. It had a steam generator, but was equipped with AAR type switch engine trucks rather than road trucks.
