Fall colors return to Loup Creek... A pair of run-through CSXT CW44ACs enter the only tunnel on R.J. Corman's former C&O Loup Creek Branch near Mount Hope. The two CSX locomotives are returning to Pax to acquire the second cut of coal loads that will ultimately head to the CSX mainline interchange at Thurmond later in the day. Fall colors are exceptionally late this season, as unseasaonbly warm temperatures lasted through early October.
