Remarks & Notes

Milwaukee Road GP35 idles at Bensenville Yard in September 1972. Removed from transcontinental duties, it has lost its dynamic braking as did most if not all GP40s delivered with them. This unit was built in May 1965 and spent some time in Washington state near the end of Milwaukee's western operations.
