The Lake Champlain and Moriah was a six mile shortline owned by Republic Steel that was used to bring iron ore from Mineville to Port Henry. It operated two NW-2's, one lettered as LC&M #19 and this one for Republic Steel. The line quit in 1971. The unit and the line's only caboose are outside the enginehouse in Port Henry.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
