Remarks & Notes

At 17:48, MARC 132 is barely late as it begins to slow for its scheduled 17:43 St. Denis station stop on April 20, 1987. Here, the Washington to Baltimore Camden Line commuter has just cleared the Thomas Viaduct.

The former B&O F7A 4580 (née B&O 937, built 01/1952) was sold to MK and shipped to Boise in 1975, later to be rebuilt (1980) by Morrison Knudsen and delivered as MDOT F9PH 7181.

About 1988, it was overhauled at CSX/Huntington and renumbered to MARC 81, and continued to operate in commuter service for several more years before retirement by MARC.
