Re 420 # 314 is pulling a swiss army train from Limmattal shunting yard to Schwanden, between Näfels-Mollis and Netstal. 4 battle tank "Pz 87" (Leopard II from Krauss-Maffei/Germany and K+W Thun under licence/Switzerland) are loaded on 8 Slmmnps-y cars. The 56,5 ton tanks will run on the road from Schwanden to Wichlen firing range in the Sernf valley behind Elm. The swiss army had once 380 of this "Leopard" tanks, but many were sold and stored, about 130 in service nowadays. On the line between Ziegelbrücke and Schwanden, the loaded cars have to be separated by an empty car because of weight restrictions.
