Remarks & Notes
In March, 1983, the Boston and Maine rebuilt former Union Pacific GP9 134 into a road slug, numbered it 100, and put it to work between GP40-2’s 300 and 301. Less than two years later the trio lost its B&M blue paint in favor of a Guilford scheme. Later that year, the slug set is seen here at the servicing area of Delaware & Hudson’s East Binghamton yard.
