The association "Dampffreunde Rhätische Bahn" (friends of the steam traction on the Rhaetian Railway) organised a 3 day enjoyment trip for the celebration of 40 years since foundation of the association. On the third day, the group travelled from Chur to Arosa with Ge 4/4 I # 610 "Viamala", parlor car As # 1161 (called Bener car after the director of the RhB, which ordered this unique and comfortable saloon car in 1930), dining car WR # 3813 and yellow open observation car B # 2111. The train is street running, passing Chur Obertor (upper gate), dating from the 13th century and part of the medieval town fortification.
