Remarks & Notes
A pair of Penn Central E44 class electrics march south through Iselin, NJ, back when the Northeast Corridor saw heavy freight activity. Delivered between 1960 and 1963, the Pennsylvania Railroad's 66 E44s represented the last large group of freight electrics built in North America, the later handful of freight variants of GE's E60 notwithstanding.
