Remarks & Notes
The "Kambly" train of the BLS with locomotive Re 465 # 004, (former SBB) standard cars type III and cab car Bt # 990 in the rear, is crossing the highest railway bridge in Switzerland, the 99 meter high Sitter viaduct between St.Gallen Haggen and Gübsensee. The train is on a charter run from St.Margrethen via the SOB line to Trubschachen. "Kambly" is a famous swiss biscuits producer in Trubschachen and a special decorated push pull train was introduced in 2010 with locomotive Re 465 # 004 and cars of the former SBB standard car type III, with cab car Bt # 990. The train ran between Berne, Trubschachen and Lucerne till december 2016, now between Berne-Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds. On the original line through the Emme valley, there are now "Lötschberger" trainsets in Kambly paint scheme running. In the foregound, the old covered wooden bridge over the Urnäsch creek, built in 1780 by Ulrich Grubenmann, is beeing renovated. In the background the double track bridge of the SBB line St.Gallen - Gossau - Zürich.
