Sitting quietly in the East Chattanooga Shop, the 113 year old American Locomotive Company (ALCO) SR 630 take the back seat for a couple of days for minor repairs. The steam crew in previous days had discovered that their was a crack in the steam injector, which put the engine out of service temporary til the shop crew get around, and replace the bad injector with a new one. So for the time being SR 4501 was fired up, and was in charge of running the Missionary Ridge Local til the repair was made, and SR 630 would be put back into service. Kinda rare to see the Ks-1 Class Consolidation in the shops during tourist season, but anything, and everything can happen.
