With the normal "Cabbage" unit used on this route gone to Chicago for inspecting, Amtrak's phase three heritage F40 NPCU was put in until the usual returns. Here the southbound train is seen going down the steep grade into the Fort Worth station after a smooth trip from Oklahoma.
