2-6-2 T steamlocomotive Eb 3/5 # 9 of the association Dampf-Loki-Club Herisau (DLC), is now operated by Dampfbahnverein Zürcher Oberland (DVZO) and based in Bauma. The powerful 1000 HP "prairie" was built in 1910 by Maffei/Munich/Germany for the Bodensee-Toggenburg Bahn (BT), together with 8 others of the same type. After the electrification of the BT, the locomotives came to the SBB from 1933 as # 5881 to 5889 and ran till the 1960'. On this day, the locomotive is ready for departure in Winterthur freight yard with a transfer run to Etzwilen, with the JAWA car, a freight car with coal and the diesel shunter with crane Tm III # 9529.
