Remarks & Notes
"Churchill Arrow" RAe 4/8 # 1021 from 1939 is on a privately ordered charter trip "Round the Säntis", slowly crossing the highest railway bridge of Switzerland, the 99 meter high Sitter viaduct near St.Gallen Haggen, on the former Bodensee-Toggenburg Bahn line. Many of the guests are standing in the moment, to have the best view down in the deep Sitter gorge. The 365 meter long viaduct with a half parabola girder was erected in 1910, when the line from St.Gallen to Wattwil was built, and has a main span of 120 meter.
