Remarks & Notes
With the rebuilding and repainting of Utah Railway GP40-3 No. 3002, all of the active four axle EMD power on the UTAH roster have been repainted in Genesee & Wyoming colors. The 3002 was built the Western Pacific 3525 by EMD in August 1970. Utah Railway picked it up from the Kansas City Southern in October 2006. The unit is pictured at CP Becks in Salt Lake City, featuring one of the last active Rio Grande GRS (General Railway Signal) searchlight installations in the state of Utah.
