Remarks & Notes

GN 680 and an SD7 idle at GN's Belknap St. roundhouse in Superior, WI in July 1969. The 680 and sister 679 were two passenger GP9s acquired by GN. In 1969 they were both working in the Duluth/Superior area providing back up for Badger/Gopher passenger service as well as being used in the freight pool.
