| Dramatic departures don't come much better than this as the 'Tin Bath' special leaves Penistone with two immaculate 'Black 5s' at the helm. The train was on its way to Huddersfield along the single line section. Between Barnsley and Huddersfield the route threads its way through some of South and West Yorkshire's prettiest and most un-visited rural landscapes, abounding in challenging gradients and featuring several spectacular viaducts. |
