| The future has arrived along the former D&RGW in Midvale! Utah Transit Authority is performing test trains for its new 45 mile Salt Lake City to Provo extension of FrontRunner commuter rail service. Here cab car 121 zooms southward between Interstate 15 and Union Pacific's Provo Subdivision at a breathtaking 79 mph! Regular service between the SLC and Provo metro areas will begin on December 10, 2012. |
