Amtrak P42 number 135 shoves on the rear of train 774, the southbound morning Surfliner from San Luis Obispo. This train departed SLO a few minutes prior, and is now leaving the Edna Valley and heading into Price Canyon. In a few moments it will pass Hadley, the location where the narrow gauge Pacific Coast Railway and the Southern Pacific Coast Line crossed, complete with an interlocking tower.
