A UTA Red Line train with car 1111 leading the charge, slams across the interlocking switches at Welby Junction, Utah. For the history buffs, Welby Junction was an early D&RGW terminal where the copper ore hauling Bingham and Garfield Branches met. It featured a roundhouse, depot and several dwellings. Today Welby Junction features the Savage Bingham & Garfield Railroad's Welby-Bacchus line connection with UTA's Mid-Jordan TRAX line in West Jordan.
