| Looking ahead from the front row in the upper level on a former NP dome car affords a "only in Alaska" scene as the southbound Coastal Classic leans into a gentle curve just north of Portage. This train operates daily during the summer tourist season and is a great day trip opportunity to and from Seward for residents and visitors alike. It is highly recommended for anybody wishing to experience parts of Alaska you can't see from the highway. |
