| Here you see CP 2317 and CN 3254 in their accustomed stalls (18 and 19) in the Steamtown roundhouse the centerpiece of this National Historic Site. Quick; name another roundhouse with with more than one live loco in it. I come up with Durango; please let me know of others. This I believe points out just how special this place really is.
The '54 has just been brought in from the coal pocket and is to be steamed up for the first time since spring shopping. The '17 has just a few of her 1472 days left. The word is she will make an appearance at the June NRHS Convention. |
